Leave a legacy of better health for the most disadvantaged.
Bequests support Rural and Remote Health Foundation to continue the provision of primary health care and support in rural, remote and Indigenous communities.
We understand and appreciate that the decision to leave a bequest is a very personal one. Besides family and friends, it is appropriate to remember organisations and activities that are important to you.
Including a gift to the Rural and Remote Health Foundation in your Will (also known as a bequest) will ensure that disadvantaged communities will continue to receive health care into the future.
A gift to the Rural and Remote Health Foundation may be unrestricted or designated.
An unrestricted bequest allows the Rural and Remote Health Foundation to choose how your bequest will be applied.
A designated bequest enables you to choose how your bequest will be applied. You can choose to support a particular community (e.g. Bourke), program (e.g. pre-natal care) or group (e.g.Indigenous health).
To ensure that your Will fulfills your intentions and that it is legally sound, it is advisable that it be drawn by a solicitor or a Trustee Company. This will ensure the wording used is appropriate for the bequest you wish to make and for your particular situation.
For some recommended wording for including a gift to the Rural and Remote Health Foundation at the time of creating your Will, or as a codicil to your existing Will, as a basis for discussion with your solicitor please click here.
